Berkeley Pediatrics is giving Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to patients 12 years and older by appointment only.  We are anticipating approval of COVID vaccines for children ages 5 to 11 in early November but DO NOT have information yet on if/when we will receive vaccines for administration.  PLEASE DO NOT CALL the office for information.  We will send MyChart messages and post here and on social media as soon as we are scheduling vaccines.

Two fully vaccinated caregivers will be allow to accompany the patient on all visits.  (updated 10/18/2021)

Please contact the office prior to your appointment if you or your child has ANY of the following symptoms:   runny nose, congestion, sore throat, fever, cough, shortness of breath, vomiting or diarrhea, or loss of taste or smell.  We may not be able to see your child in person and may need to reschedule.

If you have travelled out of state or by plane in the last 10 days OR is if you have been exposed to an individual with COVID within the last 14 days, your visit will need to changed to a virtual visit or rescheduled.

INFORMATION FOR EXPECTANT PARENTS

Congratulations!

Whether you are expecting a baby or adopting a child, the selection of your pediatrician for your family's new addition is an important decision.  Our providers are happy to have a complimentary prenatal/pre-adoption consultation with you either in person or via a video visit.  During this visit, prospective families can find out more about our practice and our philosophies, the procedure for when the happy bundle arrives and get to know their provider.  During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have also implemented a lot of changes in our office to keep our staff and our patients safe (see Office Changes for COVID-19 Safety)  We are very happy to answer any questions that you may have during this prenatal visit.

Please call the office now to schedule your in-person or virtual prenatal visit appointment!  We would love to welcome you to the Berkeley Pediatrics community.
